Projection Bluff


Bluff Tasmania
Projection Bluff (1148m), the walk goes through a dwarf myrtle forest, leading to a open plateau. Marker tape, arrows, and rock piles mark the track.
















Type: Sub-alpine to Alpine walk

Length: 2 hours return

Difficultly: moderate (bush walking experience recommended due to poor track & large rocks)

Highlights: Alpine Plateau

How to get there

 

 Take the Lake Highway, you will find the walk between Quamby Bluff Forest Reserve and Pine Lake.

Russel Falls

Russel Falls
The Russel Falls is a well known attraction in the national park, with the Horseshoe Falls just a little bit up.















Type: Walk

Length: 10 minutes to Russel Falls - another 15 minutes to Horseshoe Falls

Difficulty: easy (Russel Falls is suitable for wheelchairs)

How to get there

 

Enter the park on the B61. Once you are in the park, walk to the other side of the visitor's center.
