Hartz Peak is the highest point of Hartz Mountains National Park, and offers one of the best views into the south-west.

How to get there
The National Park is 84km south-west of Hobart, drive on the Southern Outlet, following the signs to Huonville and Geeveston. In Geeveston turn right to the Arve Road. A sign marks the turn-off to the National Park, take it and drive to the end of the road which is named Hartz Road, there you will find the start of the walk.
